Bruce Bang - Producer, Engineer, Industry Leader
Bruce Bang has been a cornerstone of the Houston Hip Hop & R&B scene and beyond for over 25 years, lending his expertise as a Producer and Mix Engineer. With an impressive career spanning decades, Bruce has collaborated with Platinum and Gold artists such as Baby Bash, Miguel, George Clinton, Frankie J, Paul Wall, and Day 26. His work also includes numerous collaborations with Grammy-winning producers like Lab Ox, Street Symphony, and Happy Perez.
Bruce’s most recent achievements have elevated his status as a leading figure in the music industry. He served as the Head Recording Engineer for Usher’s Super Bowl 58 Halftime Show, one of the most iconic live events in entertainment history, working under the direction of Music Directors Iz and Bobby Avila. Additionally, he contributed to Usher’s Grammy-nominated album Coming Home by working on the song Naked.
Bruce’s engineering credits continue to grow, with a Gold Plaque for his work on Megan Thee Stallion’s album Traumazine, specifically recording the “Southside Royalty Freestyle” track.
In addition to his extensive credits, Bruce is currently the Head Engineer at Houston’s flagship Dolby Atmos studio at Wineberg Studios and the Head Engineer/Co-Owner of the legendary iMIX Houston Studios, one of the South’s premier recording facilities. These roles reflect his commitment to innovation and providing world-class sound to his clients.
From major SSL studios in Los Angeles to intimate bedroom setups, Bruce’s approach remains consistent: delivering professionalism, attention to detail, and a producer’s touch to every project.
